New Business:

Audit committee needed next month, Carl Marucci and Jason Walruth have volunteered to audit our books.

Positions up for election, several coming up for next year-secretary report to be reviewed.

Event coming up 10/28/16 hosted by new business Graystone Manor (former apothecary)-26 church street 4-8, Halloween event. $10 admission, lottery tree, food and beverages.  Break “prisoners” out of jail with a donation.

Reindeer Project, 14 wooden reindeers have been made by the students and have been purchased. Will be used to decorate down town. Need to be ready for display by the end of November.

Village Park will be decorated 11/28/16 10-12, volunteers needed, contact Dolores Jacksland.

Elves night 12/2/16 plans are underway.

Farmers Market has been a success, will be doing a couple of more weeks and hopes to return next year.

Sharon Springs Harvest Festival, looking to see if we can have possible food vendors as fund raiser, will be checking on permits and availability.

T-shirts for next year’s bike tour, motion to purchase more t-shirts made by Dolores Jacksland and seconded by Anne Norman. Looking into selling on line.

Music on Main street 2017, chamber to write a letter to strongly encourage music on main street to continue during the month of July, including night of bike tour 7/14/17.

Superintendent Grimshaw shared that the student population is down 2015-2016.

Auction at youth center 10/15/16, open at 10 am to preview items.

Flags – new flags are needed on bridge. Request for donations will be put on face book.

Canal ways magazine- Sheryl Neal to check to see if still published.

Johnstone’s Holiday Open house 11/20/16
