Meeting Minutes 10/10/17

Call to order: Meeting called to order at 6 PM by President Phyllis Lapi

Treasurer’s Report:

Balance: $209.35

Old Business:

Funds are low. Fund raising is needed. Also, there are some businesses that have not joined, they will be approached.

New Business:

New business owner Janet Lee of Christmas at Wagner’s corners was introduced and welcomed. There will be an open house the second week in November.

Fundraising

Suggestion was made to sell ribbons for a community tree, ribbons would be sold for $5 in remembrance and attached to the Christmas tree.

Elves night out-cookies are needed, they can be dropped off at the Library at 3 pm.

Discussion of funds needed for Elves night for the wagon and Santa, donations will be sought as there are currently not enough funds to cover these items.

Looking for volunteers for a nominating committee as several positions will be vacated at the end of the year. Anyone interested in assisting or interested in a position should contact Phyllis Lapi.

Meetings: Meetings to be held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Next Chamber meeting 11/14/17 PM at Arkell Center at 6 PM.
