Old Business:
Elves night: Deb Eckler confirmed the Elves for elves night, they will also help serve cocoa and cookies in addition to singing. Elementary school choir is also confirmed.
OFA will be donating 20 dozen cookies to hand out at the library. OFA also has Bug country van coming, they will be “stuffing the bus” will need to confirm parking.
Could use additional volunteers at the cookie and cocoa table at the library. Need to confirm cocoa and where this comes from.
Decision needs to be made about raffle; the youth center is doing basket raffles so perhaps this should be changed. Suggestion was made to sell angels that could be placed on a Christmas tree in memory of loved ones. Berean Bean is willing to host the tree for this. Angels will be $5. Anyone willing to sell angels can contact Chris at VanMeter.
Volunteers will be decorating the park on 11/18/19 at 9:30. Report to the park if you would like to help. It was asked if the deer would also be put out on this day, we will have to check on this.
New Business:
December votes due for officers, nominations were made as follows:
Janet Stanley, President
Dolores Jacksland, Vice President
Kim Lawrence, Secretary
And new nominee for Treasurer, Jason Cooper from Cooper Financials
Motion was made to accept these nominations by Matt Draffen and seconded by Peter Douglas. No one else was nominated or interested in the positions.
Pastor Draffen informed us that the chamber sign has received significant damage due to the flooding. We will have more detail at the next meeting as to whether the whole sign has to be replaced or not. Suggestion was made to look at pushing it back or perhaps could it be moveable.
